Description
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the smooth functioning of assigned portfolio with maximum business development activities to generate new prospects for achievement of assigned targets in compliance with Bank’s policies and regulations. Continuously monitor customer satisfaction and take proper measure and initiative to improve overall service level. Also ensure proper housekeeping of the allocated portfolio including timely renewals of limits and recovery of dues / markup /commission from assigned credit portfolio.

Description
Business Development & Credit Initiation:
- To perform marketing & business development activities to generate new prospects for achievement of assigned targets.
- To have complete knowledge of all Retail Lending Products and Policies, Retail Lending services and detail of prevailing markup rates and all relevant service charges for sharing with customers to convince them to extend best services are being provided by HBL.
- Timely Processing and providing information & documentation for quality credit line proposals, conducting in-depth analysis of: financial & market position, security/collateral, technical capability of the borrower, as and when required.
- Assess customer needs and structure /negotiate credit facilities / trade deals according to their requirement that also attracts earnings for the bank while containing risk factors at an acceptable level.
- Besides overall portfolio growth, also strive to ensure achievement of the assigned targets of specific Retail Lending Product
- Conduct regular visit and call customers to ensure flawless service quality
- To have complete grip of all HBL products & services to grab cross selling opportunities for prompt response of customers of each category and enhanced customer service level.
- Review and analyze client’s financials, credit history, account standing in for pre-approval assessment.
- To continually assess operational risks inherent in the business, considering changing economic, legal/regulatory, market conditions, process/procedure changes, management restructuring and new technology.
- Work as a liaison between customers and credit processors from the time of credit underwriting till final approval from higher authorities.
- To collect customer’s data including pre and post approval documents for credit approval & CAD completion
- Ensure that KYC / AML and other compliance of all regulatory/Banks policies
- Initiate documentation for client credit files, and ensured internal system integrity
- Monitoring/mitigating risks associated with portfolio.
- Monitor utilization of funded & non funded facilities by customers to ensure utilization of facilities for the approved purpose only.
- Ensure that the credit/ lending functions are managed with the Bank’s laid down credit policies & procedures.
- Update themselves about the latest policies/ regulations of State bank of Pakistan & other regulatory bodies.
- Follow up and monitor assigned relationships to ensure satisfactory account conduct, compliance of risk covenants and early rectification of various credit related issues.
- To have complete grip over assigned portfolio and recommend appropriate early warnings where required.
- To ensure proper housekeeping of the allocated portfolio including timely renewals of limits in line with policy of the bank, submission of stock reports and insurance policies where required.
- Timely recovery of dues/markup/commission from assigned credit portfolio
- Continuously monitor customer satisfaction and take proper measures and initiatives to improve overall service level.
- Provide quality services to the existing and potential clients.
- Regular coordination with coverage / support teams including Branch network, Risk Management, CAD and CTP etc. to improve overall TAT to provide utmost service quality.
Minimum qualifications:
- Graduation / Post Graduation with preferably Finance Background
- 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh candidates will be required to go through bank’s prescribed test & undergo relevant trainings.
