The profile we are looking for is a Customer minded colleague, with a strong background in solution delivery, support, and operations. As a part of our Operation & Support Team, you will play a key role in managing the delivery of services on our “live” customer network, broadcast platform and/or IS/IT infrastructure, manage external (Customer) & Internal Stake holders.



As DBA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of DB, 100% uptime and ensuring satisfaction of internal / external stake holders.



DBA MFS Lead position will be reporting to NOC Manager Pakistan and functionally belong to one of the MFS program in MMEA region.



You Will



Track DB Health and take/recommend corrective actions.


  • Lead team to establish Proactive Maintenance and will ensure optimal Performance of DB.


    Lead the team to troubleshoot DB and provide solution to the issues raised by customer within defined SLA.


  • Do change Introduction analysis.


  • Support Complex Change Execution.


  • Establlish 2nd Level Routine Maintenance procedures


  • Support team to perform 2nd Level Incident Resolution.


    Support team to perform critical Incident Management.


  • Initiate problem Mangement & will identify RCA.


  • Establish and guide team for problem recording, investigation & diganosis, work around proposal & Problem solution proposal.


  • Lead to establish tasks for application corrective & conditioning task.


  • Lead to perform FNI for SW packages.




    Key Qualifications & Competence



    Overall experience 8+ Years.


  • Overall experience in operation in an IT environment. 6+ Years.


    At least 6+ years of experience as Oracle DBA.


  • Certified Oracle OCA is a must.


  • Preferably Oracle OCP certification.


  • Hands on experience in oracle 19c and later version installations and tools like expdp, impdp, sqlplus, Opatch, dbca, netca …


  • Experience in Oracle RAC and Data Guard.


    Preferably experienced in Oracle DB Performance Tuning.


  • Experienced in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.


  • Meritorious is to have demonstrated ability from Mobile Commerce, online banking or the IT area of the financial sector.


  • Experience in container technologies e.g. Docker/Kubernetes


  • ITIL processes knowledge is a merit


    Degree in Software Engineering or similar


  • Solid Linux/Unix handling knowledge


  • Scripting (e.g. Python, Ansible)


  • Knowing or having background in service operations (problem, event, incident mgmt.) and service transition (change and knowledge mgmt.)
