As a Junior Accountant, you should already have gained experience through previous training and ideally currently working as an accountant. As an Accountant, you will update the senior management monthly/ quarterly of the financial status of the company. Under the direction of the Chief Finance Officer, you will also maintain and update all the appropriate and mandatory files, processes and records to ensure the effortless and organized financial operation throughout the Company.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for recording and maintaining business financial transactions

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions

• Recording of debit and credit transactions 

• Process, start preparing, and record invoices and seller bills

• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system

• Main point of contact for processing sales invoices and receipts

• Preparing VAT returns and excel sheets

• Dealing with any financial paperwork 

• Supporting the Chief Finance Officer when required

Job Requirements

• Proven training as an accountant

• Currently already working as an Accountant in another role 

• Ability to work remote and autonomously

• Degree in Accounting or related field 

• Knowledge of Accounting systems and databases

• Proficient with You IFRS

• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• Experience with Zoho, Quickbooks, GSuite.
